To be honest, we do not really focus on that anymore.
When we started out, we focused on a couple of specific industries. We built a few strong products in those verticals and proved that our technology worked. But over time, something became clear: the problems we were solving, detecting motion, spotting deviations, making environments safer and smarter, were not unique for one industry.
They were everywhere.
There is no coincidence we have had the highest interest from manufacturers and providers of computers, sensors, 5G, and data storage. We are all working in the field of enabling new emerging technologies independent of sector.
Our real value is not in industry-specific solutions, it is in the 3D perception building blocks we have developed with focus on stationary monitoring. These tools are powerful on their own, but they become transformational when integrated into other systems. So we have shifted our focus from a few verticals to something much broader.
We want to empower many more industries with the tech we have built and make new 3D sensing technology more accessible.
At the core of that is the Flasheye Lidar Perception Stack - a flexible, real-time software that turns complex 3D data into meaningful, refined data. It is sensor-agnostic, lightweight, and easy to integrate with existing systems. It filters, fuses, and interprets spatial data so that both humans and machines can respond to changes in their environment with confidence. It works as an operating system for 3D sensors and includes built-in integrations to enable seamless integration with control systems and legacy platforms.
Whether it is optimizing industrial operations, ensuring workplace safety, or advancing autonomous systems, Flasheye is your software partner in pioneering the future of spatial awareness. Our perception software is already solving real-world challenges across a wide range of applications. In the mining industry, it automates volume measurements and detects anomalies in hazardous environments, reducing manual work and increasing both safety and efficiency. At ports and harbours, it enhances logistical operations and ensures safe conditions by continuously monitoring large, dynamic areas. In manufacturing and heavy industry, Flasheye enables process control by monitoring conveyor systems, machinery, and facility zones for deviations or blockages. For defense applications, Flasheye enables 3D surveillance to secure military sites and critical areas. In the security sector, it safeguards critical infrastructure through precise perimeter protection, often linked to access control or alarm systems. In the context of smart cities, the system enhances traffic monitoring, pedestrian safety, and overall situational awareness through automated, high-resolution 3D analysis.
It is only for stationary applications?
In the field of robotics and autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), the system improves navigation and coordination by combining data from mobile and stationary sensors, creating an intelligent, responsive infrastructure. Within agriculture, it tracks material flows and provides situational awareness to machines, helping boost productivity and traceability across farming operations.
Together, these use cases demonstrate the versatility of the Flasheye Lidar Perception Stack, delivering robust, real-time awareness that empowers industries to operate smarter and more autonomously. What unites these use cases is not the industry - it is the need to understand space and change in real time. That is what we are great at.
We believe that autonomy and awareness should not be limited to high-tech labs or specialized sectors. So instead of focusing on industries, we are trying to spread knowledge about enabling autonomy, wherever there is movement, change, or complexity.
