In addition to measuring volume, it is also possible to detect other important events in the surroundings. For example, if the truck load exceeds the safe maximum height which could cause severe damage to infrastructure especially in underground mines and tunnels.

Another function that improves safety is detecting people and vehicles approaching from the driver's blind spot and informing them promptly.
